Euchre is a popular trick-taking card game played by four people in two partnerships with a deck of 24 cards. Each player is dealt 5 cards, and one card is turned face-up to determine the trump suit. If no player chooses this card as trump, a suit must be selected. The player who chooses the trump suit is known as the 'Maker.' The act of selecting the trump suit is referred to as calling, making, or naming trump.
Euchre Scoring:
- If the team that chooses trump gets 3 or 4 tricks, they earn 1 point.
- If the team that chooses trump gets 5 tricks, they earn 2 points.
- If the team that did choose trump wins 3 or more tricks (known as being 'Euchred'), they earn 2 points.
The first team to reach 10 points wins the game. Euchre offers three smart AI players, ensuring a highly challenging gameplay experience.
